I was to maintain, troubleshoot, and administer computer networks and related computing environments including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, voice communications, document retention, backup, network security, firewall, antivirus, and email. I have worked extensively with: Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook, Quickbooks, Adobe: Acrobat, Photoshop, and Illustrator, Citrix - GoToMyPC and GoToMeeting, Symantec and Microsoft Great Plains.

Key Contributions:

Took and aging Novell network and was tasked with converting to a new Microsoft Active Directory network 3 years ago. The AD server was onsite as well as mirrored to a cloud based virtual server for redundancy.

Coordinate with vendors and with company personnel to facilitate purchases. Ensured that all new hardware, operating systems, software aligned with organizational standards and current business plans.

Successfully upgraded, implemented, and provided the technical support for new VoIP Allworx voice services and equipment, voice mail system, and telecom system.

Trained employees across all departments on network operations including log-in procedures, network management software, permissions, printing issues, security and use of software.
