Managed the UMMC –Blair E. Batson children’s hospital environmental services area. Maintained housekeepers schedules to ensure coverage for each room on every floor. Implemented process improvements in areas where time management not being utilized by employees, saving the company $1000.00 dollars monthly on hourly employees. Visual aids for nurse’s and housekeepers were created and maintained to insure proper disposal of items in the patient rooms. This saved the company about $10,000 a year with having to replace inventory on a daily basis. Implemented portion control on cleaning products being used and which resulted in a standardizing product usage saved about $5200.00 a year. Time study was conducted to insure each room was cleaned in the time allotted across the board. Educated housekeepers in morning meetings on rules and regulations so less time would be spent in Human Resources and more time spent on daily duties which saved the company about $5000.00 a year.

Lead cross- functional teams in cost reduction activities across the plant for the programs for Nissan North America.

Met with manufacturing managers to schedule trials for materials or parts that may show feasibility in cost savings for the plant and for Nissan. Implemented $3.5 million dollars in the year of 2016 surpassed the goal set by the Vice President of Kasai. Cost reductions generated by employees, department heads, and champion were investigated for feasibility and implemented in a timely manner trying to insure biggest cost savings. Exported Nissan forecast into excel spreadsheet and sent to buyers to insure day and half of inventory on hand only this would insure no overages of inventory were purchased or not enough resulting in hindering Nissan production. Scheduled injections machines for trial parts by running blends from the Nissan portal to insure change being made would be beneficial for company and for Kasai. Supervised monthly inventory of parts and material in plant and reconciled any on hand inventory shortages or overages against computer generated inventory list.

MS Alcohol Beverage Control

Produced quarterly price book for liquor retail permit holders in the State of MS. Educated vendors/brokers in doing business in the State of MS on submitting correct registration forms which created more time to call on stores and sale more product for the vendors they were representing which lead to increase profit for vendors. Created blanket purchase orders for bailment product and sent to vendors and made a copy for brokers which decreased the steps for the brokers when trying to figure up if they had met their 9 month quota for product sales. 1600 price books were mailed out every quarter at a cost 1.17 for postage equaling $7,488.00 per year on postage alone. The idea to have retailers on and off premise $10.00 per book lead to a cost savings of $15,894.00 per year for the State of MS.
