• Teamed up with four other students on a year-long capstone project, from identification of clinical need in the catheterization lab to early prototypes and testing on a worm model
• Communicated with a variety of individuals including doctors, nurses, industry professionals, and professors about renal denervation and methods to quantify procedural efficacy in real-time
• Designed an intravenously delivered device to test successful ablation of the nerves surrounding the renal artery during the procedure
• Filed provisional patent on the final design
