BACKGROUND
I am interested in building my career in the HR industry. Thanks to my study in the political science department at the British University in Egypt, I have been exposed to a high-quality and rigorous educational system that puts special emphasis on communication, creativity, independence and multi-tasking, transferable skills that certainly feed off the skill-set of an HR Officer. I also did a module on business psychology that sparked my passion for HR. Moreover, I have been given the chance to interact with people from various cultures. I am above all a motivated, disciplined and hard-working person who thrive on challenges. This was above all reflected in my senior year dissertation on democratic theory in which I presented a rigorous critique of liberal, participatory, deliberative and radical democracy. In this philosophical dissertation I received an A grade, exhibiting ideal qualities: passion for my own research; the ability to work under pressure and achieve excellent results; as well as problem-solving and analytical acumen.
Currently I am pursuing a post-graduate diploma in Human Resource Management at the American University in Cairo (2017 – 2018).
