The hospital opened July 2004 with Critical Access designation and scheduled to grow to full capacity within two years. A net revenue exceeding $36.6M, FYE 2002 was the most profitable this facility has ever achieved in the 10 years owned by CHS. As the only hospital in the city, it provides care to the increasing indigent population, the Las Vegas/Los Angeles travelers, as well as the local community.

Responsible for the overall financial success of the facility. This included responsibility of 47 FTEs directly, and 160 FTEs indirectly with an EBITDA budget of $9M.

Designed and implemented new revenue cycle composing of overhaul of operational flow/processing in Business Office resulting in 60% increase in productivity and reduction of 2.5 FTEs/

Implemented enhanced reconciliation process resulting in EBITDA increase of $100K.

Created and implemented thorough review processes in billing office resulting in $2M+ recovery of bed debt, and lost revenues.

Successfully developed methods to reduce cost and maintain efficiency throughout the facility.
