Function in a team environment and assist other team members.
Provide coverage at all the Tower sites as needed.
Cross train and be competent on all MRI equipment at all facility sites.
Interview patients, explaining the MRI procedure and the safety requirements prior to entering the zone III & IV area.
Verify that the patient’s exam corresponds to the ordered exam and make changes in billing codes as needed.
Position patient on examining table following protocols requested by the Radiologist.
Enter data such as patient history, anatomical area of interest, provide medications such as, sedation and MR contrast when necessary or ordered.
Certified intravenous puncture.
Keys commands to specify scan sequences, and adjust parameters as necessary into the computer.
View images of area being scanned to ensure the quality of the pictures.
Archive images and print CD and or film when requested.
