BAJA SAEINDIA, Indore, India April 2011 - February 2012
Design Engineer (chassis division)
Designed the chassis of an off-road buggy in Solid Works 2011 from initial sketching that led to develop a virtual prototype in compliance with the rulebook providing.
Performed surface modeling on the chassis using wireframe and surface design tools in Catia V5 R19
Performed Finite Element Analysis on the chassis (virtual prototype) in Ansys V12 and computed the strength and rigidity of it under the real time loading scenarios.
Analyzed the stress and deformation results, modified the design to reduce the stress and achieve the desired strength.
Developed a real-time model by first building a wireframe prototype to check the safety, ergonomics of a driver, placement of engine and suspension positioning.
Research Assistant (Mechanical Department) Gannon University Jan’17-May’17
Performed research activity in Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion(OTEC)
Made various presentations on ocean energy conversions in various forms
Studied different research papers and compared them concluding the solutions on energy crisis
Academic Research Projects
Design and Analysis of Internal Combustion Engine
Analyzed the design for piston cylinder assembly in an IC engine
Performed the various calculations for the piston cylinder assembly in an IC engine
Designed the whole assembly just based on one design parameter
Profit Maximization Project Under Uncertainty
Calculated the demand and profit of snow boards company based on different production quantity
Made the Simulation model of the profit and demand running 1000 tests
Diagnosed the model for both cold and warm weather at a time knowing the correct demand
Case Study on Lean Manufacturing
Collected and studied various case studies on lean Manufacturing
Focused on the limitations of their strategies and developed our own strategy for product
Eliminated the unnecessary activities and reduced the actual time consumed for the product and services
Designed a Roll Punching Machine
Modeled and Experimented on enhancement of the space between the two punches in a roll
Analyzed the current punches made by the rolling machine
Made various calculations thereby reducing the punching time and space with maximum punches
