JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Full command over Export Documentation regarding raising Invoices & Packing List, Shipping Instruction etc. as per L/C norms

• To plan the shipment accordingly to buyers ETA/ETD & follow up the shipment up to destination.

• To communicate with the buyer regarding payments, documents required vsl approval, and maintaining the orders register.

• To liase with Factory, transporters and freight forwarder, ensuring that cargo meets vessel cut off time.

• Independently dealing with buying houses for clearing documents and payments.

• To ensure payment follow-ups from buying Houses/ merchants and overseas buyers.

• Search for and find new products and/or products as per buyer requirements. Shortlist vendors for these products by matching eligibility criterion

• Evaluating samples to meet the buyers' Specific needs & requirements

• To maintain the data for Orders in-hand. To comply with all Systems laid down by Buyers for Documentation and shipping Process.

• Documents negotiation with Bank, Purchasing the Export Bill dealing with foreign Currency remittance.

• Full knowledge of cargo booking procedure and sending ASN, also to handle all logistics and couriers.

• Coordinate with shipping Co's, CHA, customs, port authorities, for efficient loading of cargo. Follow-up with CHA for B/L instruction

• To ensure follow ups the import shipment and to complete the documentation related to Imports.

• Preparation of BL/AWB/ACD//Truck Receipt (LR) instructions & send to Forwarder

• Maintaining cordial relations by liaison with Central Excise, Customs officials, Forwarding agents, handling clearance of shipments formalities and Duty Drawback.

• To carry out any other tasks assigned by the Management from time to time.
