TITLE: Design and Fabrication of Multi Utility Machine for Seed Sowing and Planting

(Jan 2017 June 2017)

INSTITUTION: K. S. School of Engineering and Management. PLATFORM USED: Agriculture and Agro Technology.

TECHNOLOGY USED: Solid Edge, CATIA V5.

DESCRIPTION: This project aims in fabricating a machine that combines seed sowing and planting which helps in reducing the labour cost and time incurred during cultivation of crops and also economical to small scale farmers in the country. The machine will go a long way in making farming more attractive and increasing agricultural output.

Collaborated in a team by combining ideas to obtain a practical concept for the task

We developed a model of the machine using solid modeling soft wares like Solid Edge, CATIA V5 as per the required dimensions

Then as per the designed model we fabricated the machine to perform the required functions with the pre determined dimensions

The fabricated machine was tested in the fields and its functioning was observed and the results obtained are validated.
