MOTIVATIONS

After 5 years of absence in the frontend application landscape, my passion for web design and development revived after a 16 courses Drupal training in September 2013. The flexibility of this CMS became on very short term my preferred tool to offer local entrepreneurs and small companies a web presence or e-commerce solution at competitive prices. All this without bargaining on specific requirements set by my customer. A direct consequence meant implementing various custom PHP modules, theme templates, and customized Rules actions and conditions became fairly quickly a common and effective practice. I tend to get very creative based on my build up skills, not just to increase my technical competence but also achieve a higher level of customer experience and satisfaction.

“Web service driven entity field creation” with Fields API was a recent example of this for meeus-vastgoed.be. My assignment for Colruyt Group became in respect of corporate integration of Drupal a new reference in the fields of BI connectivity (Tealium), security
