This project entailed creating an overall SCM solution spanning demand planning supply planning, distribution planning and reverse logistics planning and execution.. The implementation of APO’s Demand Planning and SNP modules for three different organizational entities within THQ Inc.
Activities included gathering requirements, determining the overall application and technical architecture in SAP's APO and ECC spanning APO-DP, APO-SNP(CTM), APO-Deployment, ECC purchasing, reverse logistics planning and execution (APO & ECC).
Main area of implementation was APO DP with emphasis on designing and configuring planning areas, creating planning books, and building complex advanced macros.
Other areas of focus included writing master data and transaction extracts from R/3 and main BI/B/W using BW tools within APO, building queries off the planning area using BEX Analyzer, building process chains for periodic extracts and processes. This included building standard info-cubes, remote info-cubes, info-spokes, and writing utilities (transforms) using ABAP/4.
In addition to the basic forecasting, Demand Planning’s flexibility was utilized for simulation of unconstrained procurement plans (SNP like functions), and to provide a quick perspective into overall supply and demand situation. Other functions include life cycle management, complex consumption features, product substitutions, risk analysis, alerts and exception reports all inbuilt into the planning area functions.
Post production support included performance tuning and minor enhancements

This project was an extension of the above listed project in the area of APO SNP (CTM), and DP to incorporate changes to international organization structure and additional requirements.

Developed overall SCM application architecture for Pioneer USA. This entailed examining overall supply chain requirements, business processes, and existing applications, identifying the gaps and areas of improvements in processes and applications utilizing industry best practices; cost benefit analysis and coming up with an overall SCM rollout plan.

This project involved several key business areas including Sales and Operations Planning, Procurement/Supply planning, using SAP APO’s DP and SNP (including VMI) modules. ECC modules, CIF, and SAP B/W systems.:
