Protein Sequence Prediction

Summary: Classifying the sequence of Proteins into 4 classes accurately. Our Project classified the protein sequence with the Accuracy of 50.5 and was ranked as the second-best project in the class. We used 5-fold cross-validation method and the LibSVM algorithm using the Gaussian kernel. We also checked the Gaussian kernel with each and every value of cost parameter and shape parameter and selected the model with highest accuracy.
