Designed for global applications, it was first deployed in the US networks for Cable, Internet Transport, and Telephone systems. Also deployed in Germany, Sweden, the UK, China and Japan.

Directed a team of engineers in Phoenix, AZ and Atlanta, GA to develop systems architecture, custom integrated circuits, circuit boards, and software.

Eventually transitioned to Cisco Systems as part of the acquisition of Scientific Atlanta by the company.

Co-founded Poynting Corporation, a telecommunications venture-capital based start-up which was acquired by RELTEC.
