Client : The Home Depot June 2015 till date
Project : Tool Rental Revenue Recovery - POS 4.7 Atlanta, GA
Working as an overall Test Lead in a project, which has a potential of saving $25 M in annual capital spend in US alone.
Handle multiple matrix teams across the Enterprise including credit, POS, finance, Tool rental and environment.
Responsible for all QA processes – like test strategy, Test automation, daily plans, defect meetings, planning, preparation and execution for all teams involved.
Automation done using Test complete Tool and Selenium
Identify potential risks and having mitigation plans in place.
Keeping the entire project team on board with impediments and reporting the overall progress report on a daily basis.
Two iterations have been deployed to production with 0 tickets raised in production after the deployment.
Client : The Home Depot Oct 2014 till June 2015
Project : Pro Loyalty Releases – POS 4.2 Atlanta, GA
Served as an overall QA lead in a scrum of scrum model where the team would deploy code into production after every 4 weeks.
Created a release calendar which stream lined all 5 projects of Loyalty to make them run in parallel. This reduced delays caused due to environment and code unavailability and team was able to deploy every 4 weeks with only 1 hardening sprint being run for Pro Loyalty as a product and not per project basis.
Automation done using Selenium
QA cost was thus reduced by one fifth.
Responsible for the overall status of the product and co-ordination with all 5 projects.
Attended all sprint meetings – sprint planning, daily scrum, review and retrospect.
Reviewed enhancement of all projects and came up with a fixed a master regression suite after getting product owners approval to be used during the hardening sprint.
Client : The Home Depot Aug 2013 to Oct 2014
Project : Tool Rental Paperless Atlanta, GA
Worked as an overall QA lead.
This project was designed to fully integrate with the point of sale system. The project had 0 high severity defects in production.
Worked with 7 matrixed teams with a maximum offshore strength of 47 resources.
Responsibilities included keeping all QA processes on track and co-ordinating with multiple third party teams including Citi, First Data and Penske.
Client : The Home Depot Aug 2012 to Jul 2013
Project : Pro Account Authorization Atlanta, GA
Worked as an overall QA lead in this project where credit card information was being stores for automatic payments through the SPOS.
It involved a POS release along with tandem changes and new security features were added in order to protect sensitive information.
Co-ordinated with 9 matrixed teams with an offshore strength of 43 resources.
Zero production issues were found.
