Provided project management and engineering services for QA/QC and special inspection programs meeting structural requirements for Reinforced Portland Cement Concrete, Earthwork&Structural Steel Construction. Efficiently managed and directed team of Special Inspectors and Laboratory Personal meeting need of demanding clients on a daily basis. Developed and reviewed inspection reports and testing data ensuring compliance to contract documents. Fulfilled BIM Requirements on assigned projects requiring daily updates and data uploads. Worked directly with company president as second in command assisting with all aspects of running successful concrete and shotcrete skatepark design/build firm company. I filled many shoes at Breaking Ground and in addition to project management and design engineering services, such as drainage and rebar detailing, I also worked hands-on as a shotcrete nozzleman and concrete finisher. I was also responsible for supervising earthwork and inspecting all concrete form-work reinforcing steel. Seaport District Public Realm and Yotel Project, Boston, MA 2016-2017

Site-work QA/QC Manager, Fenagh Engineering and Testing. Representing landscape architect and building owners responsible for overseeing sub-contractor work such as: soils remediation, drainage system installation, plaza and hardscape construction, tree plantings, green roof and roof top garden installations, HMA Pavement etc.

Plainridge Park Casino Project, Plainville, MA

Project Engineer, Briggs Engineering. $250 million-dollar Casino Development Project. Mr. Dorrance developed, implemented, and managed the program of special inspections as per IBC requirements for earth-work, structural concrete, structural steel and structural masonry construction. He managed a team of 10 special inspectors oversaw the entire project. Mr. Dorrance was the site Geotech and oversaw the entire foundation excavation. He provided laboratory and in situ soil testing services and worked with sub-contractors to determine the engineering properties and suitability of on-site material, developing strategies to reduce costs and risks. He maintained outstanding results for our client on this high-profile project.
