Seaport District Public Realm and Yotel Project, Boston, MA 2016-2017
Site-work QA/QC Manager, Fenagh Engineering and Testing. Representing landscape architect and building owners responsible for overseeing sub-contractor work such as: soils remediation, drainage system installation, plaza and hardscape construction, tree plantings, green roof and roof top garden installations, HMA Pavement etc.
Plainridge Park Casino Project, Plainville, MA
Project Engineer, Briggs Engineering. $250 million-dollar Casino Development Project. Mr. Dorrance developed, implemented, and managed the program of special inspections as per IBC requirements for earth-work, structural concrete, structural steel and structural masonry construction. He managed a team of 10 special inspectors oversaw the entire project. Mr. Dorrance was the site Geotech and oversaw the entire foundation excavation. He provided laboratory and in situ soil testing services and worked with sub-contractors to determine the engineering properties and suitability of on-site material, developing strategies to reduce costs and risks. He maintained outstanding results for our client on this high-profile project.
