The most of the academic projects were performed by testing both feedstock production and engineering pathways for bioenergy production, taking into account efficient and environmental criteria. The consulting projects included environmental assessment of Colombian biofuels (GBEP – FAO), technical support on bioenergy calculations (BEFS – FAO) and technical support in several engineering calculations (Caldas government, Cesar government, Caldas and National University).
