Among multicarrier transmission techniques, Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is the most popular one that uses parallel data streams. The basic idea of OFDM is Using a large number of parallel narrow-band subcarriers instead of a single wide-band carrier to transport information. multiple signals are received due to the reflections from large objects, diffraction of electromagnetic waves around objects .This causes the received signal to be distorted. OFDM provides tolerance to such frequency selective channels and provides high data rates. Therefore OFDM has been utilized in many wired and wireless communications like 4G mobile communications.
