Project Description

OMS (Order Management System - FLASH) is an application which is used for the order management of funds and supports the EIS (European Securities Services) business activity for BP2S.

An investor approaches a distributor (network) directly or through an agent to buy or sell funds and places an order accordingly. The distributor sends the orders electronically, in the form of swift messages or through fax to the LTA (Paribas branches at different location).

The LTA enters the orders (dispositions) into the Flash application and depending on the setting at the UCITS level and the Fund level, the NAV, tax, fees etc is calculated for the dispositions.

GOE (Generic Origination Engine) was developed by EDS to replace OS (Origination System) for all EDSCS users. Note that OS is still used in Westpac Branches to create new loan applications. Although OS and GOE are different applications they basically have the same functionality.
