Development and maintenance of custom applications for disbursing and servicing student loans on the iSeries using COBOL/400, SQL, CL and DB2/400.
Through research and testing and process modifications improved a daily process that ran for 10-12 hours and reduced it to less than two hours of running time.
Completed a project in three weeks that the previous programmer had spent a year working on.
