Projects

Omnicell Case Erecting/ Palletizing System: April 2017

•Programmed a fully functional palletizing and case erecting system operated by a Yaskawa MH-50 Robot, Siemens ET200 SP PLC, Festo Configuration tools, modeling and implementation for completion of the system.

•The system used an automated robot to erect boxes over a sheets, cases and palletize the boxes on a pallet in a timely fashion. This $250,000 system had four different sheet styles and 4 different laying styles for the pallets and will run for 10 plus years and erect, case, and pack over 7.5 million boxes with no down time. •Researched, modified, and implemented modifications to a palletizing robotic system to enhance performance and cut downtime for productivity. System was designed where a MH160 Yaskawa robot places pallets from a dispenser onto the conveyor and then palletizes product onto the pallets for shipment.

•Updated the robots palletizing motions and configuration and resulted in less down time and higher productivity for the company.

Ecolab Bottle Capper September 2017

•Programmed and implemented a Yaskawa MH5S-II with a Sieens S7-1200 plc to create a botltle capping/bottle closing automated system. The securing of the bottle was done by a Festo Linear/ Rotary axis. This system improves company activity by over 75% in production and cuts down human interaction. Education
