Senior ETL Developer for Nielsen’s Answer on Demand product.

Developed Syndicated Extracts for store view Clients for consuming source files from different input files and extract output based on it.

Developed File receipt process which has the ability to receive any kind of file from Input stream and validate the format and content of the file. It checks the configuration table in oracle and can reject the file if it doesn’t meet the standard.

Files Transformation using Datastage Tool and using oracle as a reference database.

File loading from UNIX shell script and ETL jobs to Netezza Database.

Migrated data stage jobs from 8.1 to 11.5 version.

Worked in rewriting an application knows as Syndicated Extracts which was built using Oracle, unix, netezza and datastage. The application gets the input in the form of CSV files which is processed using multiple data stage jobs. Analyzed the long running ETL jobs which were running approximately for 24 hours and brought down the run time to around 2 hrs.

Worked in writing Unix-Shell Scripting to run ETL jobs and create Process Frame work.

Created and Scheduled jobs using Autosys.

Changed the jobs and code to build data on Netezza instead of Oracle.

Worked on oracles materialized views and procedures.

Worked in short sprints to achieve the MVP’s required by the business.
