Maintenance Supervisor

Night shift Maintenance Supervisor, diverse responsibilities include tracking employees work hours, planning and scheduling PM’s, emergency repairs using SAP, MMP and ADP system. Monitoring downtime reports. Conduct daily tours of the assigned areas of the plant at the beginning of the shift and fill out work orders for equipment deficiencies.

Assists the lead men and mechanics with repairs if necessary. Train mechanics on an ongoing basis wherever a need arises. Periodically inspects parts bins of the equipment on shift to note shorted items and re-orders.

Monitors work orders throughout the day for timely start and completion. Review work orders to insure first in and first out service. Prioritizes work orders and schedules accordingly. Conduct safety training with technicians. Implement the current 5S procedures in accordance with Mission Foods.

Coaching and training of all direct reports. Conduct weekly One-on-One reviews and disciplinary actions as needed.

6/2015- 8/2016 Cargill Meat Solutions Hazleton, PA

Maintenance Supervisor/ Production Supervisor

In charge of 11 unionized employees and all maintenance that pertains to production machinery, including preventive maintenance, planning and scheduling of emergency repairs, and daily preventive work orders using extensive knowledge of SAP systems and programs.

Creation of technical training manuals pertaining to the equipment and machinery utilized and in operation. Conduct all training as needed.
