JAVA Web Application Developer

Description: Worked closely on projects with all core two lines of business (Group, Retail). Projects included:

1) Be-Engaged Project: Leading an XP team with Test driven development to build multiple products that helps enhancing business engagement with HCSC member in a strategic and most accurate way. As a part of development, we used tools like git, pivotal tracker, Jenkins, Docker, concourse. Technologies like spring framework, spring boot,spring security were used to build the back end to serve micro services APIS and used react, angular to build front end.

2) Blue Star: Worked on blue star optimization and migration form magna to java project. Roles and responsibilities included to design and developed new services which fulfills the business need and have a optimized performance response so client commitments can be satisfied. Wrote a custom Maven script to deploy the application on Application Server.

• Data Operations are performed using Spring ORM wiring with Hibernate and Implemented Hibernate Template and criteria API for Querying database.

Upstream stream enrolling systems triggers document generation procedure in VFS by sending a request xml to the VFS with member's basic information i.e member ID and account number and VFS gathers all kind of information required in fulfilling the request of generating requested documents. VFS also validates complete information about member and plan details to create the fulfillment kits, Id cards and welcome letter. VFS also exposes web service to other systems like BAM through which members and other user can access their generated documents. All requested in VFS are passes through different phases from received till send and delivered to member and all these phases are traceable by business.

• Worked in Agile development with development carried out in epics and stories.

• Implementation of business logic like holds service, rules engine and search service.

• Invoked soap based web services to gather member information and product information and validate the data.
