Worked closely with US Especial forces and American contractors and Afghan National Army personnel to bridge the gaps of language and customs, through my oral and written knowledge of English, Dari, Pashto and Farsi. This work also entailed adapting printed media from my American counterparts into an understandable language and format for my Afghan counterparts through the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
TRANSLATOR, US ARMY AFGHANISTAN (R&S)
March 2004 – July 2011
Provided translation and customs education services to US Army different Units while they were deployed to Afghanistan. These services were rendered under all imaginable circumstances, from peaceful public relations missions to combat operations.

While I maintained excellent marks from my professors, I was unfortunately unable to finish this course of learning as I was awarded special immigration status to move to the US prior to my graduation.
