Software Engineering Intern

ITGlobalTown is a information technology solutions firm primarily focused in Insurance and Finance domains.

The team has executed a POC (Proof of Concept) for Trade Data Reconciliation engine. The complexity involved gathering data from two source systems, parsing the feed into text format, standardization, applying reconciliation/netting/ pairing rules, exception management and generating reconciliation reports. The criteria for success were to get reconciliation process done in less than 30 minutes and was achieved with a runtime of less than 2 minutes on a desktop

Role:

Developed User Interface and navigation rules for business components in administration module.

Experience in SQL queries and joins (Inner / outer) to validate data.

Utilized Inversion of Control(IOC) and Aspect Oriented Programming (AOP) design ideas and worked on incorporating modularity into the applications.

Cigniti Technologies is global leaders in Software Testing services. Worked for the Client Alfa insurance on their Ratabase (Ratings Engine) project. Alfa Insurance Company was in the process of modernizing their core systems by implementing the full suite of Guidewire products (i.e. Policy Center, Claim Center, Billing Center, and Contact Manager) and migrating to Ratabase as their Rating Engine. Ratabase is third party rating engine from CGI which can be customized depending on client need and which is interfaced with Guidewire policy center to get the accurate premiums based on inputs given in the Guidewire PC.

Role:

● Preparing Test Data for Scenarios.

● Executing Functional Scenarios.

● Verified the data migration between FFQ2 database and FFQ3 database using SQL queries.

● Always completed executing the test cases before the time lines and proactively taken up new task.

● Prepared Test Requirements Traceability Matrix and Change Impact Matrix
