General Manager - Coraopolis Service Center

Responsible for the overall operation (including P&L) of the container cleaning operations in the Pittsburgh area with annual budget of $2 million and sales of $30 million. Responsibilities included ISO certification, sales, operations, maintenance, safety, employee training, compliance, customer relations and overall business development. Achieved union decertification.

Calgon Carbon Corp (1975-1993)

Division Manager-Equipment and Assembly Division (1975 - 1993)

Led the growth of Calgon Carbon’s equipment business from a 4 person warehouse operation to a full manufacturing operation supporting sales growth from $35 mm to $325 mm in a build-to-order and production line operation. Responsible for the overall operation of a 350,000 sq. ft./ 265 person welding/fabrication/assembly/warehouse facility producing both water and air treatment systems, air separation systems, ASME pressure vessels, piping, structural components and containers. Responsibilities included strategic planning, budgeting, personnel administration, cost accounting, safety, quality, cost control, maintenance and production and inventory planning and production/sales of $325 million annually.
