System administrator - KM Innozol IT solutions, India [May 2013 – June 2013]

Monitored LINUX based server resources, upgraded OS periodically.

Configured VLANs and VPNs. Documentation of Network and server environments.

Served customers and also supported Level 1 issues.

Gained knowledge about types of testing and Handled tickets using JIRA.

Learnt about Microsoft exchange server 2013 server and Managing IP addressing and IP access lists.

VoIP engineer intern – BSNL, India [May 2012 – July 2012]

Setting up of IPT equipment, calibration of instruments and reporting working condition of phones with the clear idea of call flow and protocols.

Created VoIP network for applications engineers using PJ-SIP, Asterisk PBX and X-lite.

Router IOS backup and recovery.

Provided technical support to the customers and to VPNs, QoS, MPLS networks and used wireshark for packet tracing.

Academic Projects:

Simulation of Virtualized Multi tenant networks [VMware work station, SDN,Python, POX controller] [May 2016 – Dec 2016]

Network is emulated using mininet, flow is controlled using POX controller, and flow visor to generate the traffic and miniedit is used to visualize the network and packet flow and this simulation of DCNs is done using SDN technology.

Number of tenants and hosts in fat tree and Bcube DCNs are varied using Python codes and bandwidth and delay on average compared for these two DCNs.

Implementation of Voice over wireless Ad-Hoc networks [X-lite clients, Asterisk server, SIP] [April 2016]

Created Ad-hoc network and implemented VoIP over the network using SIP.Asterisk is used as server, X-lite softphones are used as clients to study call scenarios.

Call scenarios like Call establishment, busy lines, call on hold and conference call and call transfer are all studied Packet flow during the scenarios and the parameters exchanged are studied using Wireshark.

SIP client application [Python, X-Lite clients,Astersik, PJSIP libraries] [April 2016]

One of the X-lite client is replaced using python code and PJSIP libraries are used to run the code.

Same call scenarios are studied but with one client being the python code.

Browser to browser communication using Web-RTC [Java script, Node.js, Atom, Web-RTC] [May 2016]

Created a HTML page using PJSIP libraries with user interface.Written a code in javascript and ran it in node.js.

Data, audio and video are exchanged between these browsers using Web-RTC APIs.Understood SDP, RTP protocols, studied the packet flow using wireshark.

Secure client server file transfer [C, VM ware workstation, MySQL queries] [Sep 2015]

Implemented TCP and UDP based client server model to exchange a file securely.

Authenticated the exchange using the username and password stored in database using MySQL and EKE protocol was used to distribute key, random keys are generated using DH parameters.File is encrypted using AES in CBC mode.

Implementation of SDN Technology on MININET [Python, Mininet, VMWare workstation] [May 2015]

Studied the packet flow in the network using wireshark for HTTP request and reply scenario and analysed packet header fields.

Network was emulated using Mininet and it was implemented in VMWare workstation.
