Dear Leading Marketing Firm -Team,
I would like to apply for an internship position with you. I am requesting for a voluntary long-term internship for a period of six to twelve months starting from September 2017.
I recently completed my high school at the Maria-Wächtler Gymnasium school with A’ level grade. My school diplomat would allow me to join a university here, however, after 12 years of theoretical foundations, before entering university studies, my aim is to use my knowledge to gain practical experience in work life through an internship for which I have chosen your pormotion firm. As my CV shows, I have gained a wide range of knowledge and skills from my academic and employment experiences. Some examples are: communication skills for building relations with customers in person, ability to organise and prioritise, flexible and adaptable to new situations and tasks and computer literate (Open office, Word, Excel, registers and charts). In addition to my technical skills, I consider myself a creative person as I love to express myself and communicate in different ways to reach people regardless of who they are through songs, photos, articles and theatres.
In my understanding, these experiences would be a solid base in which to begin an internship, investigate new prospects for personal growth within a department and give back the return to the company.
Moreover, my work experiences within the human resources department of ThyssenKrupp has initiated my interest and has provided me with a good understanding of administration and management. It will enable me to use my practical experiences to help achieve a high standard of customer satisfaction that will match your company’s standards. Furthermore, I have a true passion for exploring different lifestyles and travelling. It teaches me something unique about the diversity of peoples as Canada is the leading center of diversity which houses people from all corners of the world. It is a symbol of multiculturalism and opens for us new ways of thinking.
As I am determined and looking forward for this internship. I have arranged my stay in Calgary with my extended family, where I am recently, and commuting to place of internship will not be a problem for me.
