I volunteered with Raven and COPA/LAAW where I completed my Masters in social work internship as an Adult Domestic Violence Court Advocate. In addition to working with a sexual assault agency assisting children and families of domestic and sexual violence. I am a foster parent who assists children with multiple behaviors, disabilities and those who have been victims of abuse or assault. My education is Registered Medical Assistant, Master’s in Social Work as well as currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. I have twenty-nine years as a registered Medical Assistant and twenty-six years of experience in communication and networking with law enforcement, physicians and community specialist and leaders. My experience extends to supervising and case managing children and adults with mental/physical disabilities and chronic illness, reviewing clinical reports for disability determination, supervisory medical assisting for multiple physician offices, counseling diabetic and asthma patients, hiring staff, disciplinary actions, and obtaining resources for populations at risk.
