Audiology:

Pure Tone Audiometry, Speech Audiometry, Behavioral Observation Audiometry, Visual Reinforcement Audiometry, Special Tests, Immittance Audiometry, Oto-Acoustic Audiometry, Auditory Evoked Potentials, Auditory Steady State Response, Hearing Aid Programming and Fitting Electro – acoustic measurement of hearing aids, Trouble shooting of hearing aids.

Department of Audiology

Measurements of hearing acuity of patients of all ages, using Pure tone Audiometry, Immittance Audiometry and Reflexometry with special tests such as Reflex Decay test, Acoustic Reflex Latency test, Oto Acoustic Emission including DPOAE and TEOAE, Behavioural Obsevation Audiometry, Visual Response Audiometry, Conditioned Play Audiometry, Brainstem Evoked Response Audiometry (BERA).

New Born Hearing Screening, Audiological Screening of Infants who are in high risk register, Pre term, infantile Jaundice by both informal and formal test.

Counseling regarding prevention and management of Auditory Impairments.

Prescriptions of appropriate hearing aids using subjective and objective procedures including hearing aid trial and fitting.

Programming of different manufactures hearing aids such as Bernafon, Siemens, Widex, Phonak, Rexton, G N Resound, etc

Instruction for use and maintenance of hearing aids and other assistive listening devices.

Auditory training Programs for the hearing aids users, including Speech Reading.

Hearing conservation programs in industry and other areas measurement of environmental noise by measurement and preventing NIHL by selecting appropriate Hearing Protective Device.

Able to diagnosis Auditory Dysynchrony, Psuedohypacusis individual, Various Conductive Pathology, Otosclerosis, Ototoxicity, Noise Induced Hearing Loss and other Sensorineural Hearing Loss.
