As a current nursing student and certified Phlebotomist, I faced your Phlebotomist position with interest. My educational background and past Ukrainian medical experience aligns well with the qualifications you are seeking to perform phlebotomy technical skills. With a Phlebotomist technician experience at all departments in the Halifax Medical Center (Daytona Beach), I am adept in venipuncture, sample collection and organization, and documentation. I am:

- Keeping laboratory areas neat and well-stocked;

- Verify test requisitions and patient by identifications;

- Making patients feel comfortable and relaxed;

- Proficient in venipuncture and finger sticks, blood sample collection from patients of all age Groups using aseptic technique and following department procedures, observing isolation procedures;

- Adept in related techniques as with glucose tolerance tests and blood cultures;

- Track collected specimens by initialing, dating, and noting times of collection;

- Enter results to the laboratory information system;

- Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following department’s standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.

I am an American citizen and a Florida’s resident from 2012; currently enrolled in nursing program. I passed through the nursing clinical rotations in Jackson North Medical Center, Broward General Hospital, and a phlebotomy technician job during next two years will enhance my enrollment in clinical field, giving an additional experience.
