(From January 2009 through May 2016)
SBJ Energy Partners LLC / Position: Sr. Vice President of Marketing
During this period I have been mostly committed to assisting in the building this regional oil company, located in Waco Texas. Below is a snap-shot of the company activities:
Zavalla County: This prospect is over 50,000 acres in size. Located in what is commonly referred to as the “Eagle Ford Shale” or “Eagle Ford Group.” This is a major development; the first phase called for over 100 wells to be drilled at 400 acre spacing. Overall I t was projected to be a 20 year buildout with over a billion dollars of equity identified for the development.
We previously had ongoing prospects in Archer County Texas. The Archer prospect was projected to have a 31 well build out with another two to three leases contiguous to the current lease, of similar size and similar enough formations to reasonably project another 60 wells. This development was sold off when we were able to secure the Zavalla County prospect.
We also had a prospect in Hardin county. This prospect is in the historically famous Saratoga filed, is a salt dome formation and is currently being assessed for further development via a joint-venture. There are numerous drilling prospects that have been identified by the company engineer and a sale of the prospect was recently completed which we believe will be of great long term benefit of the working interest owners as well as the company.
We had a prospect, approximately 6,000 acres, located in Daniels and Roosevelt counties Montana, commonly known as “The Bakken”. Also in the Bakken, we have in negotiations a large parcel of over 10,000 acres together with 1000 bpd in oil. We are reviewing a number of suitors for debt, equity, hybrid and lastly a public take-out has also been tabled.
Lastly, we had another Eagle Ford prospect located in Daniels County, commonly referred This is a limited prospect in size though it has a large profit associated with the play.
I have directly and indirectly worked on the raising of funds for the prospects by way of developing leads, forwarding information, taking / receiving phone calls and follow-up of correspondence related to the transactions. Along the timeline I have acquired a working knowledge of the upstream oil industry and speak with industry insiders on a regular basis.
In summary; because of the collapse in oil prices the most of the above prospects have been effectively shelved.
Time Period through to December 2008 / list of miscellaneous projects
November 2008 – Alt. Energy / EV Battery. I arranged for an in person face-to-face meeting with qualified suitors. As I am lead to understand, the prospect reached the offer / acceptance stage prior to being acquired by a public company for some $50mm.
Prior to this timeline I was involved with helping to raise funds for Fossil Energy, Lakewood Colorado. Total raise was approximately $3mm. We used a Private Placement Memorandum (PPM) for the raise.
I have other / extensive directly related work experience concurrent and prior to this activity. I would be happy to discuss as well as provide direct references relating to my effectiveness.
