Contract to permanent position at Savannah River Site - Currently a Test Engineer 1 working on the Testing and Commissioning phase of a nuclear waste construction site. Test and trouble shoot mechanical systems and components involved in the new Salt Waste Processing Facility (SWPF). Previously Review Work Packages for completion, proper content, authorization & signatures. Conducted Peer reviews of all work packages before they are moved to Quality Assurance. Working in SWPF area, collaborate with field engineers, design engineers and upper level management for completion of work packages. Resolve issues and address comments on work packages from both Quality Assurance and DOE. Helped to process QCIR reports checking for accuracy and proper documentation.
