EDUCATION
Facilitated the development and successful implementation of new SCALE-UP teaching method, as one of top 10 TA's in the department. This method promotes active and collaborative learning for science courses in contrast to traditional classrooms.
Instructed physics laboratory sections with heavy focus on data and uncertainty analysis. Evaluated large number of students’ coursework and held office hours and recitation sessions for interested students. 09/2010–05/2016 Chapel Hill, NC
Instructed and helped with development of various introductory physics courses and class types throughout years
Teaching Assistant
UNC-CH, Department of Physics & Astronomy
Teach various levels of math & physics to students ranging from high school to post-baccalaureate, receiving 100% positive feedback. 09/2011–Present Chapel Hill, NC Los Angeles, CA
Private Tutor
Self Employed
Successfully extended a graphical model in order to study certain class of string configurations.
Analyzed and organized the resulting data which led to discovering a physical anomaly within the configurations under study.
08/2011–12/2012 Chapel Hill, NC
Analysis of certain configurations within String Theory via graphical modeling Research Assistant
UNC-CH, Department of Physics & Astronomy
Designed the algorithm and wrote the code responsible for finding the parameters in question, based on research done around the physics of the problem. This code is currently being used by UNC researchers. Imposed this algorithm on 3 of 6 physical Lie groups and analyzed the resulting 10,000–50,000 data points for each case. Developed another algorithm which identified physically meaningless data and cut the compilation time by 50%.
Studied the resulting data to find relations between its elements and successfully demonstrated various characteristics of these parameters with up to 8 different graphs in each case.
Published the results, alongside more analysis of the implications, in a paper with collaborators.
01/2013–07/2016 Chapel Hill, NC
Numerical analysis for specific characteristics of Physics beyond Standard Model Research Assistant
UNC-CH, Department of Physics & Astronomy
