• Dictionary cleanup of OM, PCS and Charge Master. 2010 - 2017 Health Data Specialist

Special Interest Consultant

• As a consultant for HDS I have been involved in a variety of projects and roles within. Project manager for migrations from one Meditech platform to another. A few of the moves from platform to platform include: Migrated from Magic to client server. Early client server to 5.65. Client server to 6.0. Team Lead for most modules and/or tasks and team member performing dictionary builds and having work on or with all modules. Even validating BBK. This work was performed on all Meditech platforms Magic, Client Server and 6.0. Included in this process was the creation and testing of scripts for Integration testing. As well as the planning, coordination and support of parallel testing and system Go-lives. I have work experience in most all modules. Recently with OM, PCS, ITS, CWS, ADM, ONC, NUR, LAB, BAR and G/L in the 6.0 and 5.6.4 client server environments.

• My last role was Project Manager for a Biomed project converting the facility from end of life GE patient monitors to new state of the art Philips monitors in all of the Critical Care areas, the Emergency Room and the Telemetry areas in the rest of the facility. A large part of this project was interfacing the patient data into the EPIC EMR This project started in March of 2016 and completed in April of 2017.

• My prior assignment for HDS was a Meditech position at a small facility in the Pacific Northwest. Here we have gone from paper system to Meditech 6.06. Then Project Manager for the upgrade to 6.07 PP4. Subsequently updating to Priority pack 5, most recently we have started the quarterly priority pack updates. Build, testing and support for OM, PCS, ITS, CWS, ADM, ONC, NUR, LAB, BAR and G/L played heavily in responsibilities. Each of these projects have gone in smoothly with little to no need for command center style support for more than two days. This project ran from July 2013 until February of 2016.

• The next assignment was a forensic role delving into dictionary set ups, parameters (both client and Meditech restricted), CDS, NPR and work flows to determine the reasoning behind unexpected results in Data Repository and millions of unwanted records being archived. This Project ran from Jan 2013 thru June of 2013.

• Prior to that I cleaned up OM dictionaries in preparation for CPOE. The facility had migrated to 6.0 from Magic a few years back and simply recreated their Magic entries in the new platform. Extensive scrubbing was required for the multiple facilities and clinics involved for ease of creating the ordersets for CPOE. This project lasted from July of 2012 through Dec 2012

• I spent 18 months as a Project Manager in a healthcare system of 5 large facilities, 15 sub-acutes and clinics from various Magic versions to 6.0.1. During this migration, we also brought up CPOE. Other aspects of the project required support of systems being sunset, IE: Chartmaxx, Allscripts, Telletracking, ect. This project was from February of 2011 until July 2012

• The first assignment with HDS was Project Manager for a hospital converting from Magic 5.62 to Client Server 5.64. The success of this project was complete enough to warrant the closing of the Go-Live Command center after only 2 days. My initial project as a consultant went the contracted length from June of 2010 until end of February 2011.
