(Report to CEO:Mr.Vijayakumar Vaidyananthan., Feb(2014) – Jan(2015)) Working with the android division as a team leader, designed and implemented 5 projects of micro fi- nance, bank and vehicle machinery sector clients.JAVA(for the client android development),PHP(server interface) and Shell Script(Handle user logs) were utilized. Projects Handled:

Microfinance(No of applications :2) Implemented end to end android applications, database system,reporting and analyzing tools and web user interfaces to cater to the user base of a microfinance giant, with nearly 3000 users all over India. We also developed a micro project to enable internal audit of the company’s workflow.

Banking(No of applications :2) Developed two major android application to enable lead tracking, sales and field investigation of customers applying for personal and vehicle loan,to users in 10 states of India,handling the complete loan process. Some novelty features such as, providing an internal mailbox within the application, for free and secure internal communication, were widely appreciated.

(Report to India head:Mr.Shailendra Balani., July(2013)-Jan(2014)) Completed a 3 month training to implement financial solutions to trading platform projects and won the best End of training project award for a project on executing trade on simple arbitrage of two shares, on the basis of the cross-over of their short and long term moving average prices. The coding platform for the above was C(for the algorithm), Flextrader R (to design the Graphical user Inter- face(GUI) and Perl scripting(to handle execution report generation on the share order fills) Projects Handled:

Market Making: In a team of 2, designed a layout(referred to as ladder layout) with functionality pertaining to various shares related operations(send, replace, cancel,widen and narrow according to market data ticks),which was promoted to production by the thai exchange. Formula calculator: Devised a backend setup, which on market change of prices of a share, calculates a price related property(eg, market spread) through a mathematical expression (of any complexity) by string parsing.

Exchange Mapping: To evaluate the performance of a share on a trading day with respect to the sector it belongs to, developed a backend algorithm that maps the exchange, sector and industry, the share is traded in, to the corresponding ETF(Electronically traded fund) and calculates and displays on the GUI, share-ETF return and other performance indicative parameters. Order Matching:Based on a connection to the Order match server and using JAVA API, provided alerts to the trader when a buy-sell pair is encountered for a share on the trading system, to execute the trade.

My significant role: In a team of 5, Elicited the most optimal procedure to reduce the formic acid con-tent in an anti–depressant drug(Ziprasidone) and other such, through dynamic statistical approach to experiments (Design-Expert R software), using regression modeling and Response surface methodology.
