California Health Benefit Exchange (Affordable Care Act) or CalHEERs - Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) and the Managed Risk Medical Insurance Board (MRMIB) have jointly sponsored a new system, California Healthcare Eligibility, Enrollment, and Retention System (CalHEERS), for the exchange. CalHEERS will include various Applicable State Health Subsidy (ASHS) Programs. Los Angeles county welfare system (LEADER) needs to be enhanced to communicate with CalHEERs system to receive and send case information for a unified case view.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Application development Mnagement, Requirements analysis and design of new module for eligibility determination request that needs to be sent to CalHEERs from LEADER

doing preliminary analysis and testing of implementing XML based communication through MSMQ for LEADER system

assisting other modules in design and overall design improvement of the project.

Assigning tasks to the development team and providing answers for business queries and resolution for technical issues faced by them

Performance tuning of complex SQL statements to reduce CPU time of batch jobs
