SINGLE MODULE TEST: SYNTHESIZER; DOWNCOVERTERS; ATENNA CONTROLLER:

Before testing, using DVOM to test Ohm, and then measuring all voltages after applying power.

Using Spectrum Analyzer (E4405B or E4407B) to test single frequency and gain of each output.

Then testing very signals from VCO; OXCO; and final test: voltages, frequency and gain (Synth)

First, observing and Ohm test and then voltages test. (Downconverters)

Running LABVIEW program to balance the attenuators (adjust value of all attenuators)

Making sure all the gain in the right level (- 3dB to 3Db) the best is zero (0dB)

Checking all VCOS; LOS; and FPGA ICs to make sure they are functional.

Making sure all Filters; Amplifiers; Programmable Attenuators (0-2-4-8-16 dB) working,

Single module test: visual, ohm tests, voltages test, gain of each frequency test.

System tests: system built (synthesizer, Downconverters, Antenna controllers, CPU and so on)

Turning on system (first boost): setting BIOS, Diagnostics, and Sweep tests.

Running 24 hours “ON and OFF” with room temperature

Running 48 hours “ON and OFF” with changing from 0 to 40 Celsius degree.

Final test: instrument Accuracy tests: frequency, gain and Spurs Tests.

All tests (Test Program, Lab-View) have to base on Test Procedures (depends on what module).

Using Oscilloscope to test shapes of OXCO, Clock, and Frequency and so on.

Using Spectrum Analyzer to check gain, noises of each frequency.

Using Network Analyzer to check frequency, gain; return loss, noises and so on.

Troubleshooting bases on schematics for all models of PCB.

Working in RMA for all models from the customer over the world.

System Team Leader.
