Senior Systems Analyst
Maintain – Accounts Receivable, magazine billing and many other reporting systems for wholesale and direct to retail magazine industry systems.
Develop and analyze new applications as required by industry needs. Work directly with clients and management to coordinate project and reporting needs.
Modify billing systems to incorporate manual processes to create interfaces into monthly billing systems and AR. Develop new databases, program modules to accomplish tasks to track necessary changes and maintain history for reports required by management. Objective was to reduce overhead.
Analyze and develop new procedures to interface wholesaler external files into monthly AR systems and create detail Excel files to confirm credit requests to client. Project Lead: Combine Allotment System. Curtis maintained two separate allotment systems, one for wholesaler and the other direct to retail. Responsible for incremental testing for each module and full system testing. Maintain detailed time estimates for each module to provide management with the projected completion date.
Project Lead for Specialty Sales System transitioned September 2002. Emphasis placed on analysis of other projects.
Designed interface system to take in Point of Sale information and interface into existing account receivable system.
