• Configure, Implemented and supported Cisco Routers (2800s, 3800s), Switches (2960, 3550) and firewall (ASA 5500s).

• Troubleshot and resolved LAN/WAN connectivity issues.

• Configured, troubleshot, and optimized routing protocol: EIGRP and OSPF for lowest latency.

• Configured, implemented and troubleshot layer 2 switching: Trunking, Etherchannel, Inter-VLAN and HSRP.

• Performed periodic management and monitoring of networking devices. ACADEMIC PROJECTS

Instance Management on Amazon Web Services June 2017 Created and managed multiple AWS EC2 instances, Supervised and balanced instance traffic with Elastic Load Balancer (ELB). Created a VPC, Subnets, VPC Internet Gateway and attached it to the VPC Route table then created EC2 instances and configured NAT devices by allocating Elastic IPs and associating it with created instance. Virtual Network implementation using Mininet May 2017 Set up the virtual machine containing the network emulator(Mininet) for data center, used iperf to simulate the bulk transfer and video stream and video server to adapt the video quality to the available bandwidth between Video server and client. I ran Ryu controller to observe the impact of poor routing on application performance and observe the video quality. Designing a VoIP network between two office campus Nov 2016 Established a VoIP network using specified protocol stack that helps to connect remotely working employees at two different campuses and assist them to transfer the data, documents, media files using two servers, one for data transfer and another one for voice transfer.

Multi-location Corporate Organization Network using GNS3 July 2016 Designed & implemented a network topology for an organization, subnetting concepts in each department within an organization and concept of VLAN & access-list to allow users to access shared resources. EIGRP routing protocol was used to provide connectivity and inter & intra communication. EIGRP and OSPF were used for a same process as well for practice. Internet Packet analysis using Wireshark Apr 2016

Studied the operation of server-client interface and observed packet transfer between server and host computer depending on different types of protocols. IP/MAC addresses, window size of the up & downstream, port number of TCP stream were observed for the played video on browser and I traced the path of the packet with more than 10 hops using Traceroute.
