MANAGEMENT

In 1996, help co-found WCC, Inc. WCC was an RF Engineering firm that employed 25 engineers to design PCS markets on the East Coast. My role was to acquire contracts through the major carriers like Powertel and Tritel. Scheduled the engineers for assignments. Negotiated terms with upper management of the carriers.

In 2011, co-founded Clearshot Communications. Obtained contracts with General Dynamics for power swaps in Albany NY market. Obtained LTE work in Grand Rapids, MI. market and Columbus, OH market.

In 2013, obtained LTE and TURF projects in Southern California for WesTower (Mastec), Black & Veatch, Bechtel, and Goodman

In 2015, Clearshot obtained tier 1 status for Verizon new builds for the LA and San Diego markets.

Involved in all aspects from pricing, scopes of work, and scheduling to meet client’s objectives. My character and experience allowed me to establish relationships with our clients to be able to close the deals.

COMMUNICATION

Since having both the engineering and business background, I have the ability to discuss all aspects of wireless projects. I started out in the field, which helps me know the scheduling and timeframes of what it takes to complete a project. Being able to communicate this with the client and resources in the field ensures the project meets all its milestones. My communication skills allow me to wear many hats to be proactive to any situations that may pop up. This equates to quick solutions by involving the right personnel on decision making.

LEADERSHIP

Resided on two Board of Directors, Protostar out of Duluth, Ga., and Northstar out of Somerset, Ky. After co-founding Clearshot Communications, assembled teams of sub-contractors to perform work such as power swaps, LTE, and microwave on the East Coast and the Midwest for AT&T and Sprint.

Attended site walks for iDas hotels and convention center.

Gathered information to providentify BOM’s, scheduling, and crew sizes depending on time frames.

The scheduling would entail turnkey from installation to commissioning.

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS CLEARSHOT 2011-2015

Co-Founded Clearshot Communications to obtain contracts pertaining to power swaps and LTE builds.

In 2011, Negotiated contract with General Dynamics to perform power swaps and LTE upgrades in the Syracuse and Albany markets.

2012-2013, obtained contracts to perform LTE installs (125) with General Dynamics for Sprint in Grand Rapids, MI. and Columbus, OH. Also, installed and pathed microwave sites (10) for General Dynamics in the Carlisle, Pa. Obtained AT&T TURF contracts with Black n Veatch, Bechtel, and Goodman, and completed over 100 sites.

In 2015, obtained Verizon Direct to provide services for their new builds in the LA and San Diego markets.

2016, after the sale of Clearshot, working with Team Electric on pertaining contract work for generator installations, DAS projects, and Small Cell projects.

PROJECT MANAGER GLOBAL INFRASTRUCTURE 2008-2011

Helped obtain an AT&T contract for TURF sites in Kentucky. Supervised tower crews installing RF equipment. Installed power stations and BTS’s for the same market.

ENGINEER FBI 2007

Obtained Secret Clearance and assisted in making sure through the carriers that at a certain point in the communication translations, that the communications could be tapped and traced for National Security.

OWNER WCC, INC. 1996-2007

Co-Founded WCC and hired 25 engineers to provide RF services for PCS markets. Acquired contracts and managed major accounts.

In 1996, provided Phase II design for Powertel in the Birmingham market.

In 1997, provided Phase II design for Powertel in the Jacksonville market.

From 1998 thru 2000, provided turnkey RF services for Powertel in the Nashville MTA. Designed and built 151 sites in Nashville MTA. Designed first city in US that used EMS 45 degree slant antennae for entire market. Also provided engineers for RF services for Tricel in the Carolinas.

2001-2004, designed and approved sites for the BTA’s of Corbin-London, Somerset, and Middlesboro, all in Kentucky.

2005-2006, worked as an Independent Contractor for ClearPath to integrate new Verizon sites in central Virginia.

RF ENGINEER LCC 1995-1996

Attended various RF schools including; RF propagation, antennae theory, drive testing, and PCS design. Designed PageNet’s markets of LA, San Diego, and Arizona.

Helped drive test and design Salt Lake City for Western Wireless. Duties included; propagation modeling with drive testing, search rings, and approving sites.

MAINTENANCE ENGINEER CENTEL CELLULAR 1991-1994

Built and maintained cellular towers for Centel Cellular in the Central Virginia market. Duties included updating software for the Motorola switch and cell sites. Responded to outages to get sites back on the air.

PETTY OFFICER USN 1985-1991

Completed basic engineering and electronics school. Maintained various radar and communication equipment while stationed at NAS Guam.

Completed cryptology school with a Top Secret Clearance, and was stationed with Seabees during Desert Storm.

Obtained various medals along with Navy Achievement Medal and Presidential Citation.

Played the following sports for the Navy: rugby, basketball, baseball, and golf.
