Kilgore Partners LLC, dba Schooley Mitchell
President and Strategic Partner 2016 – present
Was recruited to establish my own company to provide telecommunications and merchant services consulting to companies I recruit, educate and sign to 3-year agreements. In first 6-months I signed 6 agreements with a diverse set of clients which include: an independent insurance group, a State Farm agency office, a large Church, an HVAC company, an auto repair chain of 9-stores, and a state-wide security company. Also have a strong pipeline representing an estimated $320,000 total contract net-value with pro-forma of $ 1.89 M over 5-years.
Interactive Intelligence (Acquired by Genesys)
Strategic Global Alliances Manager 2015 - 2016
Chartered to establish and grow from start, a Global Alliances Program. My initial priority was to target Global SI’s. Within 3-months, I had agreements in place and field activity under way. I soon requested to include Amazon Web Services, (which is the infrastructure for the PureCloud SaaS product). It immediately became clear that AWS could become our most strategic alliance. In 6 short months, I lead ININ up the AWS partner ecosystem, achieving entry into the exclusive (by invitation only) AWS, Solutions Alliance Program comprised of only 12 companies (out of over 2,000 partners AWS has). This achievement enabled AWS’s field sales (3,000 strong in NA) to be compensated on PureCloud Sales.
The significance of this was recognized by our founder and CEO as the most significant strategic progress ININ had made this year and crucial to the new all-cloud strategy,
TIBCO Spotfire (Acquired by Vista Equity)
Global Technology Alliances Director 2013 - 2014
I was recruited to the Spotfire Unit of TIBCO, (offering Predictive Analytics) by the Business Unit President. My objective was to increase revenue from global technology partnerships, which was severely undeserving the company. I rapidly increased revenue 300%, by working directly with Spotfire and partner field sales teams on collaborative methods they could conduct on opportunities. The result was achieving 120% of year-end revenue in just 9 months.
Attensity Inc. ( suspended operations)
Director of Global Alliances 2013
Attensity who was an innovator of a SaaS-based social insights platform, recruited me to restart their alliance program which had underperformed for several years. I began to immediately generate indirect revenues, via several large deals teaming with Accenture and Teradata and by establishing an OEM relationship with a subsidiary of Teradata. Every one of my first year’s MBO’s had been exceeded in my first quarter and
Evolv Inc. (Acquired by Cornerstone)
Regional Director Enterprise Accounts 2012
Evolv provided predictive methods to help companies hire the most suitable candidates. My charter was to sell into a market segment that featured the hiring of call-center agents. By initiating contact and almost immediately identifying needs of two global companies, then managing each step along the sales process I was able to sign each of these companies to initial deals that also included much larger follow-on business for Evolv.

Call Tower (ceased operations)
Sr. Regional Account Manager 2010 to 2012
This small, west-coast communications-as-a-service provider hired me to assist them in transforming their business. In an attempt to compete with larger players, including AVAYA and Cisco, we teamed with Sprint. My approach was to establish credibility in the company and its technology via education and acting as a subject matter expert to the Sprint teams in the field. I achieved success by closing the largest deal ever for Call Tower, Bass Pro Shops, which included over 50, store locations.
Genesys
Sr. Director of Global Alliances 2006 to 2009
During my second 4-year stint at Genesys I was recruited to lead the global management of HP Enterprise and Alcatel-Lucent, two of our largest alliances. HP overachieved on increasing revenue goals each year and received Partner of the Year in 2007.
Utopy, Inc. (Acquired by Genesys)
Vice President of Sales 2002 to 2006
When I assumed this role, Utopy was the earliest entrant into the Speech Analytics space and had been struggling to achieve its first revenue generating deal. As a member of the executive team, I convinced the board and CEO to rewrite our market-focus and product strategy. The result was winning two large deals (Sprint and Del), growing the sales team and establishing partnerships with IBM and HP. Through this success, Utopy was able to acquire additional venture funding and grow to become one of the most successful speech analytics providers in the market and met with the CEO’s of both Utopy and Genesys assisting in the eventual purchase of Utopy by Genesys.
Nuance Communications Inc.
Region Manager 1999 to 2001
Nuance was the market leader in Speech Recognition and the eventual technology behind the iPhone’s Siri, among other uses, I assumed a 4-state geographic territory. My clients included American Airlines, Dell and Wal-Mart. Received a company award for signing the largest contract in company history at that time.
Genesys
Director of Global Alliances 1996 to 1999
As the third sales executive hired into the 50-employee private company with sub-$1 M revenues, my contribution was to establish an indirect strategy from scratch which resulted in the doubling of revenues for all 4 consecutive years. This was a significant portion of Genesys’ overall revenues during my time, which included; a successful IPO, reaching $140 M revenue and being acquired by Alcatel my last year. Some of the partnerships I established included; Nortel, Sprint, MCI, Unisys, Verizon, etc.
Prior Positions and Achievements
Following graduate school, I held multiple sales management roles with companies including; ROLM, MCI, Intervoice and AT&T. These included leadership of teams up to 12, National Account Managers and P&L of $76 M. I also lead a team with responsibility for the single largest account for the company, which accounting for 25% of the company’s total revenue.
Was honored by regularly attended high-achievers’ trips and received recognition for contributions made in these roles.
