Participated in a competition on pollution caused by the disposal of plastics. Spring, 2014.

Modeled a polymer grade lactic acid purification plant with four other students. Fall, 2015.

Designed and ran an economic analysis of a plant to produce tetrahydropapaveroline on a semi-industrial scale with two fellow students. Spring, 2016.

Designed and constructed a lab scale wind turbine for a company that teaches teenagers green energy alternatives. Designed the blades using a 3-D printer. Spring, 2016.

Played on the Lafayette Frisbee team. 2012-2016.

Operated centrifugal and reciprocating pumps and analyzed pressure drops in piping systems.

Operated a lab scale tray distillation column, a small scale batch distillation column, and a gas chromatographer unit.

Was expected to operate and trouble shoot any problems while in the Unit Operations Lab without help from the instructor.

Chaminade High School, Mineola, NY – graduated May, 2012.

Rowed on Chaminade crew team. 2008-2011. My varsity boat went to the National Finals in 2010.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Consolidated Edison, Manhattan, NY November, 2016 – June, 2017 Work in the Gas Construction Management Department in Manhattan, New York. Track fuses and gas valve installations. Check and track paperwork from Triumph Construction, a major Con Ed contractor. Process and send violation notices to our contractors on behalf of the Department of Transportation. Contact our contractors to ensure all violations are promptly addressed. Olive Oil’s Restaurant, Point Lookout, NY Summer 2013, 2014, 2015. I worked in all areas of the business, including, waiting on tables, customer service, training, and opening up in the morning.
