Software Tester – Quality Assurance Analyst
Responsible for the testing and releasing of software which included the uploading and managing of the software on the company website. Also responsible for technical review of documentation including: YouTube product videos, product manuals, technical bulletins and help files for software and Android apps. Also created and maintained software specification documents as well as creation of end-user tutorials for software. Worked closely with the management team and aided in the development of new software applications as well as new products. With supervisor permission I often acted as IT support for my department; troubleshooting computer and networking issues. Spearheaded the development of a written software testing procedure, developed a beta testing plan, consulted in the development of a new company website and lent networking expertise to the development of a new line of network capable products. Remotely managed several servers as well as an internal Wi-Fi network specific to my department. Also managed a test system with several virtual machines using VMWare. Specified and built computers for company use. Limited experience with Labview. I was promoted from Software Tester to Quality Assurance Analyst I at my one year review.
