Dear Search Committee,
This letter is in response to your ad for a Healthcare Business Analyst position. While searching for a job for which my economics degree and extensive medical background would be applicable, your ad on Glassdoor displayed prominently with a significantly positive approval rating from employees, something that is a rarity anymore.
I am a recent Economics graduate from Metropolitan State University of Denver and I graduated in a class of nineteen students. The rigor of the degree drives off potential students of economics, but my craving to learn coupled with an intense desire not to let the difficulty drive me away pushed me to graduate this year while working a 40+ hour a week job at King Soopers (sic) in their pharmacy. This drive and my personal intensity would be an incredible asset to the Colorado Springs Airport.
In addition to my education, which was focused on healthcare economics, I have spent many years in the medical field and I am certified to work in compliance with HIPAA regulations. My experience with the pharmaceuticals and medical research fields also has helped me to better understand the nature of healthcare.
I have an incredible dedication to the details and I would love to explain more to you all in person or on the phone. Feel free to contact me via phone any day of the week, though I may not be able to respond immediately. I am also available via email at ***********@*****.***. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Austin Miller
