KBR @ Phillips 66 Ethylene Project, Sweeney/Freeport Terminal 1989 - 1991 Interface with key Brown Root Braun construction personnel to expedite solutions to problems for which answers are needed by construction. Clarifies field needs and priorities, proposes alternate solutions and expedites answers from the client. Define system boundaries, construction and pre-commissioning schedule and the ability to anticipate "bottlenecks" and obtain solutions to same. Interfaces with Phillips management and discipline engineers to expedite approval/authority to proceed for all open engineering/materials/equipment problems which affect the timely execution and completion of construction work and final start up and handover to the client.
Surveying Party Chief/Civil Engineer (KBR Road Construction) 1987 -1989 Responsibilities included layout of vertical and horizontal alignment for all phases of the roadway and bridge work; extracting data from prints and doing any computation that are necessary before any layouts of the multi-layered interchange at US 290/West Belt Toll Road. Involved in the layout of nine bridges crossing Bammel North Houston Road, Veterans Memorial, T.C. Jester, East and West Green Bayou along Sam Houston Tollway including the retaining walls.
