Education:
University of California Irvine, Irvine, CA: B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering. GPA: 3.6 March 2018
Los Angeles Pierce College, Woodland Hills, CA: AA Degree in General Studies: STEM. GPA: 3.44 June 2015
Engineering Experience:
UCI Rocket Project, January 2017 – Present
Designed avionics and control system for the ground rocket. Wrote Arduino code for GY-85 IMU that will be used in avionics system of the rocket. The sensor will be used gather the heading and orientation of the rocket. Learned how to program sensors that used I2C communication protocol. Individual Research Project, June 2016 - Present
Wrote Arduino code for electro-hydraulic controlled valve train. Simulated a camshaft of a vehicle and used optical sensors to gather and control the camshaft by determining its position and then trigger the solenoid at top dead center.
Robotics Team Project, March 2016 - June 2016
Control Systems Engineer. Help design and program created robot to race with other robots. Managed to successfully program robot to perform consistently and navigate through simple track. UAV FORGE Project, September 2015 - March 2016
Worked with a team of engineering students to design, build, and test an autonomous UAV capable of doing long range missions. Learned how to program and use the Arduino platform and troubleshoot old quadcopter design.
Directed Study - Nuclear Reactors, February 2015 - June 2015 Researched and made a report about Nuclear Reactors under Professor supervision. Researched the Fukushima Nuclear Reactor incident to research the limits of nuclear reactor safety. Studied different designs of nuclear reactors and working fluids.
