WORK / RESEARCH INTEREST
Context-aware Computing for Mobile Phones
My work / research interest is to develop a mobile context-aware system that incorporates diverse context factors and leverages machine learning algorithms to solve practical issues (e.g., mobile interruption and CO detector risk factor) and improve the effectiveness and user satisfaction with the system.
Technical skills: Bootstrap Frontend Web Development (HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, and JavaScript), MySQL, JAVA
Reference: Context-aware Call Management for Mobile Phones Big Data / Machine Learning
Machine learning algorithms such as SVMs could be used to create predictive classification models and identify relevant context factors to the target factor for dynamically detecting context-aware data.
Technical skills: use Excel and Python (Numpy and Pandas) to generate structured data; use WEKA for predictive models (accuracy rate); find out significant effects with SPSS for regression and ANOVA statistics
