Vogtle 3 & 4 construction project

Responsible for generating and maintaining work packages, generating weld maps and field sketches in support of craft. Performing in process inspections as required in the work packages, drafting, implementing and following to completion needed change paper required for any non- conformance with design. Assisted in rebar and cleanliness inspections in preparation for mass and non-mass safety and non-safety concrete placements in the Unit 3 Auxiliary, Containment, Annex, Turbine buildings, and Cooling Tower veil and precast members, also Unit 4 Containment and Turbine buildings. During concrete placements I was responsible for retaining batch ticket and test data, point of discharge, keeping track of lift heights, and interfacing with the subcontractor responsible for testing concrete specification. Also worked with the team responsible for coordinating major milestones such as setting structural modules or concrete placements to meet schedule deadlines or in support of other critical deadlines. Worked extended hours and weekends in support of critical path activities. Specific areas worked detailed below:

o Auxiliary Building Unit 3

Supporting various wall and slab safety related concrete placements.

Overlay plate and coupler installation and inspection in preparation of safety related concrete placed inside CA20 module walls from elevation 66’-6” to 128’. Assisted in concrete placement in CA20 module.

Supporting craft in fabrication of ceiling precast panels. o Containment Building Unit 3

Assisted in setting the CA01 module. Reviewing model and as-built data for possible clashes during the set.

o Metrology for CA20 and precast ceiling panels at elevation 82’-6” in Unit 3 Auxiliary building, and Turbine building Unit 3 water boxes attaching to the condensers. o Auxiliary Building Unit 4

Supporting the subcontractor responsible for drilling and tapping embed plates for Basemat Attachment Brackets attaching the CA20 module to the Auxiliary Building basemat.

Supporting Craft in the installation of the Basemat Attachment Brackets, and watertight doors for the CA20 module.

EPR Project

o Civil layout group; produced concrete layout drawings from Safeguard building model. o Mechanical piping group; used PDMS to produce isometric drawings.

Eagle Rock Enrichment Facility Project

o Mechanical piping group; used PDS and MicroStation to produce complete piping systems and layout equipment models and extract drawings and isometrics.

MOX Project

o Supported the HVAC support group using PDS.

ANO Stator Recovery Project
