PROJECTS:

Security for Implantable Medical Devices (IMDs) and Smartwatches 2016

Implemented a 2-factor authentication system to protect the Implantable Medical Devices and Smartwatches from adversary attacks and security breaches. Security threats are caused due to insecure software, insufficient user authentication. Attacks that can be launched on these devices are eavesdropping, denial-of-service, spoofing and tampering. This application is developed using Java as a platform.

Comparing the similarity of two databases 2015

In this project, two different databases in MYSQL database management system are taken and both schema matching and data comparison are performed using Toad (for MYSQL). The similarities and differences between both the databases are explained with the help of computational outputs. This is helpful in applications like data warehousing, distributed query processing and web service integration.

Tele-operated robotic arm with haptic feedback 2015

This project demonstrates the use of flex sensors to simulate human finger movements. It also gives a force sensitive feedback to human hand when it senses an object. It is developed using Arduino IDE with C++ modules. It uses wireless ZigBee communication protocol. It has applications in industrial, space, military and medical robotics field.

Uniform water distribution in Mango Orchard 2014

Using Raspberry PI board and solenoid valves to evenly distribute water across six water zones in round-robin fashion. The valve is controlled through an electric signal. Python is used to program the PI board. This project has its applications in farming and fire suppression systems.

ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS:

Won Third prize in technical quiz conducted by IEEE TICES -2014 Vizag bay section.

Participated in LabVIEW workshop conducted by National Instruments in 2014.
